The sensual self: online self-tying course

Rope in your own hands

Self-tying changes the conversation. You choose the pressure, pace and shape yourself, and the feedback arrives directly through your own hands and skin. I use that immediacy as the starting point of the course.

What you will practise

You will learn safety, rope handling and ties suited to working on your own body. I also guide you through movement, variation and ways of building a complete practice from a small number of reliable techniques.

Why self-tying is different

There is nobody else to read your signals or release the rope for you. That makes preparation especially important. I teach deliberate placement, circulation checks, rapid release and choices that keep you within a manageable range.

The experience may feel sensual, meditative, playful, demanding or unexpectedly ordinary. None of those responses is a failure. I do not tell you what you should discover. I give you a framework and invite you to notice what is actually there.

Who it is for

The course is for adults who want to explore rope independently, whether as a first practice or alongside partnered tying. No prior experience is required unless the course page states otherwise.
