Sensual Shibari is the name I use for my courses, private work, workshops, retreats and related content. These general terms apply to the website and to purchases made through it. If an offer has additional booking terms, those terms also apply. If there is a conflict, the more specific term governs unless the law requires otherwise.
The website contains material about consensual rope, sensuality and adult intimacy. You must be at least 18 to purchase, register for or participate in my services.
My work is educational and experiential. It may include rope technique, communication, consent, attention, movement and guided sensory practice. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis support or a substitute for treatment from a licensed professional. I do not promise a particular emotional, relational or physical outcome.
Rope practice carries physical and emotional risks. You are responsible for giving accurate information relevant to participation, following safety instructions and communicating changes in comfort, circulation, sensation or consent. Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time. I may pause, adapt or end an activity where I believe it is unsafe, outside scope or unsuitable.
Online instruction cannot account for every body, health condition, environment or use of the material. Work within your ability, use appropriate safety equipment and seek qualified medical advice where a health condition may affect participation.
A booking is confirmed when the stated booking process is complete and payment or another agreed arrangement has been accepted. Prices, inclusions, dates and access periods are described on the relevant offer page or checkout. You are responsible for checking that the information supplied during purchase is accurate.
The cancellation terms for the chosen service form part of the purchase. The Cancellations and Refunds page explains the general process and provides a withdrawal form. Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right.
Login details are personal and must be kept secure. Course access may not be shared, resold or made available to another person unless the offer expressly permits shared participation. I may suspend access where there is evidence of misuse, unlawful activity or a serious breach of these terms.
Unless stated otherwise, the lessons, videos, audio, writing, photographs, downloads and teaching materials are owned by me or used with permission. A purchase gives you a limited, personal and non-transferable right to use the material for your own learning. You may not reproduce, teach, publish, sell or distribute it without written permission.
Participants must respect consent, privacy, boundaries and instructions. Harassment, coercion, discrimination, unauthorised recording or conduct that places another person at risk may result in removal from an event or course. The financial consequences will depend on the circumstances and any rights that apply by law.
I may make reasonable changes to schedules, facilitators, venues or digital materials where necessary. If a change is material, I will explain the available options. I may correct errors or update website content, but changes will not remove rights already attached to a completed purchase.
The website may rely on third parties for payments, video, email, hosting or external links. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to their services. I am not responsible for third-party content that I do not control.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, I am not responsible for indirect losses or for losses caused by use of the material outside its instructions, unsafe practice, inaccurate information supplied by a participant or events outside reasonable control.
These terms are governed by Swedish law, without removing any mandatory protections available to you in the country where you live. If a concern arises, please write first to m@sensualshibari.com so I can review it. You may also use any consumer complaint or dispute process available to you by law.
